Clean + Green

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! I'm doing better (update tomorrow!), for now I'd like to get back to puggle business!
I've recently had the privilege to try a wonderful product and I would like to share my experiences with you. Grab the pupcorn & get comfy!
Clean + Green Pet Products have a wide variety of cleaning products that are all safe for us & the enviorment. Their products are very easy to use(spray & leave) and all contain their unique Advanced Eliminator3 Formula(TM) which doesn't just cover up the scent; it eliminates odors, deep cleans and removes stains. What more could you ask for right?
Well, I got to test out Clean + Green's Carpet & Upholstery Odor Eliminator, Cleaner & Stain Remover. I told myself, "This is the perfect product for a puggle to test out, as I have made many, many stinky stains around the house!"
The smell was Mommy main concern as no cleaning product has helped so far(or home remedies for that matter). Here is a before shot of the Truly Awful Stain:
Tail not included in stain, although it helped make the stain! BOL! This particular stain is one that everyone got a whiff of when they stepped through our door. When Mommy & Daddy are gone 10 hours a day stains happen, smells happen!
To use this product all we had to do was spray it on the stained area, until barely damp, then leave it. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! After the first application we noticed a difference in smell, really remarkable! Several applications later:
Ignore the snuggle puggle butt! Close up:
Now let me tell you how old this stain is, I started working on this stain when we moved into the apartment and the sofa was where the t.v. is in the pictures(Yep, I used to pee on the back on the sofa, it's why my pawrents don't have friends! BOL!). We've been living here for almost two years! I've been making that stain my WHOLE life!
Sorry to see you go buddy...well not that sorry! BOL!
We was so please with this product we have given them the first ever Snuggle Puggle Seal of Approval! We will give this seal to products we feel are good enough for our bloggers pals(and us of course!) to use. If a product I review doesn't get the seal, it doesn't mean it's not great, it just wasn't "Snuggle Puggle Grade A" in my opinion. So congrats Clean + Green!
See y'all tomorrow!

Mr. Puggle® Movie Monday: The Stand Off

Thanksgiving 2009

Preston’s thanksgiving dinner this year looks better than Mommy and Daddy’s.
Another thing making this thanksgiving super special is that the long-anticipated Animal Planet Dogs 101 Puggle episode finally aired this weekend. Preston got a lot of emails from friends who saw him on TV. It was a short appearance but long enough to make Mommy, Daddy and Preston very excited! If you missed the show, you can catch a short online version. All the puggles that made the show are so adorable. Preston attempts to stand out by barking and howling at the camera and it worked!
Preston is cheering for himself.

Busy Busy and Chilly Chilly!

Hi there! It has been in the 40's here in Florida this weekend so I got to wear my new coat!

What do you think? Pretty stylish if I do say so myself! BOL! The only thing is the coat is a little long for me so I dribble a little tinkle on it! BOL!

It's been so cold I've even had to wear my pj's around the house! Turn on the damn heat will ya!

Oh, this is our Christmas Tree!! Christmas Tree can only mean one thing......Santa Paws! And with Santa Paws comes Pressies! and LOTS of them! The humans have been doing a lot of shopping this weekend and I stumbled upon this......

A HUGE stash of doggy treats and stuffies! Mommy found me in the guest bedroom standing on my hind legs to check out the goodies so she just had to snap this picture. I go in this room and cry now the door is CLOSED! I guess I'll just have to be patient.....

Mr. Puggle® wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving

As President, George Washington made the following proclamation and created the first Thanksgiving Day designated by the national government of the United States of America:

Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor, and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me "to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.

Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be. That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks, for his kind care and protection of the People of this Country previous to their becoming a Nation, for the signal and manifold mercies, and the favorable interpositions of his providence, which we experienced in the course and conclusion of the late war, for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed, for the peaceable and rational manner, in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One now lately instituted, for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed; and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and in general for all the great and various favors which he hath been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech him to pardon our national and other transgressions, to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually, to render our national government a blessing to all the people, by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed, to protect and guide all Sovereigns and Nations (especially such as have shown kindness unto us) and to bless them with good government, peace, and concord. To promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the encrease of science among them and Us, and generally to grant unto all Mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as he alone knows to be best.

Micro-chipping, the Do’s and Dont’s

After a quick Google search of "Micro-chipping Pros and Cons" I feel there are enough articles on that particular subject that I do not need to rehash them here. Instead I am going to discuss two things you shouldn't do when your animal is micro-chipped.

I am pro Micro-chipping. I have security in knowing that I have a much better chance of having my family member returned to me. Kim Bloomer says that is a pro of  Micro-chipping but is not a supporter of the practice. An excerpt of that article:

"The micro chip would mean not only could we find our animals but the government could find and track us as well because it's not really the animals being tracked but us. Think about it: it is your information in this micro chip along with your pets' information. I seriously doubt that the government cares a whole lot about our domesticated animals and we don't have to look far to know that."

I don't like politics. My eyes glaze over when the subject is discussed at a dinner date. I am a law abiding citizen and if the government thinks I am interesting enough to hunt me down by using my dogs micro-chip number than so be it.

I requested that Kepa be Micro-chipped while she was under anesthesia for her cherry eye/spay surgery. (This is the best option because the needle that is used is quite large and can cause pain to the animal.) When I picked her up post surgery I was handed a whole stack of discharge instructions and paperwork. Included in these papers were a cute little certificate with Kepa's Micro-chip Identification number and AVID's brochure with a dog tag that had the ID number engraved on it.

So I thought to myself- I wouldn't run around the city, sniffing asses, with my social security number tattooed on my forehead- WHY would I put my dog's ID number on a tag around her neck? Of course, I would hope that the person that found her would want to return her to me but what if they don't? It would only take one phone call and $5.99 for the person that had her to call AVID, give them her number and change the information into their name.

Furthermore, if my child and I were at a crowded theme park do you think I would want my child's name written on a name tag in case of separation? You might be thinking, "Yes, that's exactly what you do," but in fact I say, "No, I would not." I, of course, would want my cell phone number somewhere on him or with him if he was unable to recite it to an adult but WHY would I want my child's name prominently displayed on his shirt to the pedophile creeping around the corner?! The pedophile would then be able to use my son's name to call to him, get his attention, and instill trust in him by making him believe he is not in fact a stranger because he knows my son's name. "Hey Charlie, your Mom got hurt but she sent me to get you. Come with me, Charlie, I will take you to her," is a lot more trustworthy than, "Hey Kid come over here I want to show you something."

My puppy's name is something she needs to know. I use it to get her attention, to praise her, to call her to me, and to connect with her. But why would I want a puppy thief to know it?!?

I will be ordering Kepa her real dog tag soon. It will simply say:
